ObieQ’s face describes exactly how I feel about this week! It was a monster!!! My GSD (Get Sh!t Done) list was a mile long and I only feel like I made a dent. Hellooo Friday, Where are you! On Sunday we are planning to get our swim on with Pearachute Pool and Field Day!
My Pick of the Week
ObieQ and I are big fans of the Museum of Science and Industry. This gem is right in our neighborhood and perfect for toddlers to explore. So when I heard they were showing movies on their front lawn, I knew we had to go! This partnership between MSI and Chicago Park Districts is made in heaven. The movie starts at 8:15p, which is a little tricky with us and bedtime we are going to go early and hang out. They will have IHeartRadio there to provide the jams while we wait.
It’s events like this that make me so proud to live in Chicago. My son is going to watch one of his favorite (mine too!) movies on a big screen on the lawn of one of the most legendary museums in Chicago. How dope is that! Mamas this is the FRESH approach I am talking about! Keep an eye out for us, we will be the one there with our red wagon, of course!
